They walked up to the pharmacy and to the woman that had just helped me. Her face lit up and she was smiling from ear to ear. She asked them what they were doing. They told her that they just wanted to say that they loved her and that they appreciate her and all she does. The woman was their mother. They wanted nothing in return and asked for nothing.
Later I got on Facebook and I noticed so many of you posting about your spouses about what they mean to you and how much you love and appreciate them. I see this from time to time but not to the level, I saw it today. It was awesome. It was as if humanity, at least in our part of the world, was connected on the same thought, LOVE AND APPRECIATION.
Each of us, when we take something for granted and continually find fault and pick at one another rather than acknowledging the positive and the good we can forget the love, compassion and understanding that is there in our lives. If we take anything for granted long enough what we forgot about will be gone when we remember.
Gratitude and acknowledgement are so very powerful! Why, because it connects each of us to all of the good things in our lives, it keeps us all connected.
Please do not let what is in your lives and so valuable disappear right before your eyes because of neglect, which I saw none of today. Take time each day to remember, take time to say something, take time to celebrate and be grateful and above all, TAKE TIME TO SAY THANK YOU!
Do not wish for more, do not expect it, take a very loving and appreciative look at all that you each already have. When we each appreciate what we already have that is good we can build upon it to reach and dreams and connections that we could ever imagine.
Like today, make it a habit to reflect each day on how fortunate that each of you are. It is our cognizance that allows our blessings to continue unfolding and growing throughout our worlds.
Each day see the beauty that is there right in front of your eyes and the worth that is already yours. See it all, acknowledge it and never take anything for granted.
With this, I say to you each, goodnight and God bless each of you and all of those to whom you are connected to or will ever be connected to.
