Some days are more stressful than others and some not so much. How we handle the stress is what makes the difference in a good day, bad day, hurting oneself or hurting others close to you. Personally, I would rather not hurt anyone as I assume you would not want to either, but we do from time to time.
There are a few ways to lower stress. One way is to get away from it all but usually we do not have that luxury. The other way is to be okay with it.
The more we fight it the more stressful we become and the more we project the negative outward to those around us. We do not have to fight it.
It is not always easy but we can accept and welcome what is going on. I do not mean you have to be happy but just welcome it, accept it. When we do, we put ourselves in control and put ourselves in a position of power rather than it controlling our lives.
We give ourselves opportunities that are more positive when we receive it. We can then make use of what is going on and if we can direct it or change the typical outcome to a more meaningful purpose.
Accepting does in no way mean that you want it to continue it just means that you are ready and able to deal with it, control it and enjoy life by getting back to who you are quicker.
So, don’t fight it, walk right up to it with your heart open and head held high an make the best of it. Focus on family and the things that alleviate your stress. Choose to not let anything get to you. It is your life, yours alone, yours to control and yours to live and love. DO IT!
