Have you ever broken you own heart? Many times, we do so without even realizing it because we cannot seem to acknowledge the fact that we did and in doing so we hurt others. No, it may not have been the intent it happens all the same.
For whatever the reason though, all we can do is to forgive ourselves and understand others in spite of the event.
Punishing ourselves for our mistakes won’t erase them or move us forward, really. Being angry and disappointed at ourselves for a missed opportunity or a wasted day won’t achieve anything positive for yourself or those you hurt.
Instead, we should forgive ourselves, and free ourselves from our mistakes. Instead, we should each learn from those mistakes, and turn your attention to what you can do now, for ourselves and those that we love.
