Tonight before you lay your head to rest, I want you to think of this; did you pick what you would be named? Did you pick where you would grow up? Did you choose what religion you would be? Did you choose what you felt was right or wrong. Did you decide what is good and what is evil?

NO! You chose none of it. Our lives from before birth has been determined not by you but by everything thing and everyone around you within our society. We each have been taught the differences in color based on the beliefs of those in our lives, We each have been taught a religion or a faith based on those around us and in our society. Each of us has been taught what is right or wrong based on those around us and in our society.

Now think of this. If WE, each of us, had been allowed to be who we are from birth and without social domestication, how do you feel you would be now? Think of this also, each of us no matter our environments our societies our histories the religions or even our colors, we each at the core of it all want to be happy, to be loved, to be part of something and to me noticed.

I wonder if we allowed our true nature to drive who we are how much better our world might be. How much better each of us might be to ourselves and to each other. I wonder if hate, greed, evil, war or anything we know to be negative and wrong, would even exist.

E.E Cummings once said, “To be nobody-but-yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you somebody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.”

When I say to you, it is up to you, I mean it. Life is up to us as individuals. We each inherently know right from wrong and good from evil. We each know what is best for us, and no other. We each owe it to each other to be ourselves and who WE are meant to be for each other.

Do no harm and each moment that you can pay it forward and allow each other to be who they are and allow yourself to be who you are and who you are meant to be.
